Take A Hike

You seemed so far away,
Now you are even further.
A dream which floats above me,
far beyond my reach.
You are a passion,
for which I would spend an
eternity doing.
Yet the distance between us
becomes greater and greater now.
I feel my heart pulling hard on my reins,
telling me to jump and reach for you.
But I feel my urban-trained mind
telling me to move away.
Follow my heart or my head?
Both are a challenge
filled with pain and
heartache.
To choose will never
be easy...

My mind's been overflowing with facts lately, especially since my uncle has gone, and returning to school has only focused my mind on my future.
I long to work for DreamWorks, its been a passion and desire for 7 years. But now, it all seems so far away, too far out of my reach. Its financially difficult to study animation where I would benefit most, and there are no local animation courses...

So it now seems like goodbye DreamWorks........
