Yay for contest entries! I couldn't resist when I saw this contest, and it was loads of fun too!

This is my entry for =silverglass19's contest, and here are my two new Bacabellos! I remember Liz said that their markings give off a slight glow at night, and that lead me to draw Xipilli and Nenetl! So here they are, off for a night run while the stars are still out but the sun is slowly making it's way back to the land, and the sky turns purple and pink in the distance. Xipilli and Nenetl run across the open plains while the moonlight dances around and makes their coats sparkle and their markings glow.

Xipilli
Name: Xipilli, which means 'jewelled prince' in Nahuatl, pronounced 'shee-pill-ee'.
Breed: Bacabello X Arabian
Gender: Stallion.
Age: 45.
Colouring: Palomino Rust Bacabello.
Tattoo: Signed just before croup, both sides. Identical marking.
Jewellery: Two wide silver bands on both rear legs above the fetlock.
Abilities: Ability to heal oneself and others rapidly, such as flesh wounds and bone breaks.

Nenetl
Name: Nenetl, which means 'doll' in Nahuatl, pronounced 'nen-ett'.
Breed: Bacabello.
Gender: Filly.
Age: 6 months.
Colouring: Palomino Moss Bacabella.
Tattoo: None yet, when older will receive small signed flower-like pattern on quarters.
Jewellery: None yet.
Abilities: None yet.

These two were tons of fun to draw and design! And it was great to get back into the drawing chair, hehe I couldn't remember how to draw with my tablet when I got home! I hope this doesn't bear too much resemblance to any other entries, I spent ages going through them trying to eliminate all the different combinations before settling on one! I know the little one doesn't take too much after her mother, it was hard to try and combine Akhalaia and Xipilli! And if these guys don't win or place, I'll definitely have to get them into my herd somehow!
