Pavia blinked again, wondering if it was just the autumn winds causing her to see such amazing things. But nothing changed, in fact it only got clearer. The young filly standing beside her looked deep into Pavia's eyes, with only the love a newborn foal could have. Pavia's heart suddenly leapt with joy as she realised that this was her very own, her first-born. She'd come unexpectedly on a sunny autumn day, when Tulio had decided to search for new grazing lands. Thinking the foal was due for at least another week, Pavia wasn't bothered and stayed with the herd. But just hours after he had left, something told her the little one wasn't going to wait another week. Now looking at the perfectly formed Anrastiollo-Bacabello cross, Pavia couldn't have been happier that she'd arrived early. And now she couldn't wait to tell Tulio later that day. And while they hadn't decided on a name, the filly's bright blue eyes reminded Pavia of the native flowers to Anrastonia. Her name would be Flor....

At long last! Flor has been born! I've been itching to get her drawn, and I really enjoyed drawing her too! Hehe she certainly takes after her father, with just the odd hint of her mother in there too! Let's hope Tulio's just as happy to see her as Pavia is! This has taken be about four days, and I know it's really not the best. The clouds are, well, weird. And the grass looks like someone hacked it with disfigured scissors! Whoops! I was kinda getting over some art block with this, so hopefully my next piece will be better!
