Wow... this has taken me a jolly long time! 
Probably... 6 days? 28 layers too... but anyway, I am very pleased with the result! Lots of new tricks, like the new shading style, used some lighting effects, lots of brushes and lots of filters! 
But I finally finished, and I've never wanted to finish a picture more because I like it! 
So yeh, I am pleased. I also HAD to stick my watermark on it, cus I'm sure there are some daft people just waiting to take it! 
Anyway, let me stop rambling! I was going to enter this in *boribaby's contest, but I'm still contemplating... cus I've already entered the two refs, so this would just be an extra...
I'll see tho! Either way, I still like it!

Really diggin this piece. The picture really has it's own movement, and it's fabulous that you contained that in a drawing. Especially the right character, he just has this perfect energy,

You did the lighting well, not all cheesy or anything, it was really believable that it'd light up on the pair.
