Weee! Ok, I must admit, I am rather proud of myself with this one! Firstly, it was a tricky pose, even tho it might not look it! Then, I'm not much of a gory person. I see my own blood and I feel woozy... So drawing this felt a little wierd for me, especially with the muscles! But I overcame it! And I quite like this guy!

This is for 's halloween contest, where we had to design a creepy, icky, evil character. So, here he is! Maybe not a winner, but I like him, and if I get the chance to, I'll definitely draw him again!

There's a tiny bit a gore, but not so much, so there's no warning for Gore or Violence.

Name: Sepaltura (means 'grave' or 'burial' in Spanish)

Age: Before the incident, he was around 5. Now he is immortal.

Personality:Before his incident, he was a friendly and loving stallion. His bright eyes caught the attention of everyone, and there was nobody he disliked. Now, his cold heart radiates a icy atmosphere around him. He walks alone, he hates company and cannot tolerate another stallion near him. Highly dangerous and carnivorous, he is quite the opposite of what he used to be.

The Incident: One afternoon, he and his herd were walking along the banks of a river that separated the wild lands of the mustangs and the humans. The path was rocky, and a loose rock sent the footpath into the depths of the river below, taking Sepaltura with it. Washed up on the icy shores beside a small fishing village, an unsuccessful scientist saw the suffering animal. While many would have put him out of his misery, the scientist gave him a new life. His left side had been ripped open, exposing the bare muscles. The skin had washed away, and the scientist had to other way to save him but to stitch the edges of the wound and let the muscles fend for themselves out in the open. Other wounds on his rump, leg, neck and face were stitched up, but had to be permanently sewn because of the fragility of his skin. The scrapes on his left front leg were stitched open too, revealing the muscles. The scientist also constructed a steel tailbone, and reattached his tail to his spine. The overall result was that altho he was able to live again, his heart was colder than any icy wind that blew, his open muscles bled constantly, and he would never go near another being again.

His New Life: Sepaltura now stalks the land at night, his favourite are cold winter nights when the moon is full. He hides in the depths of the dark forests and lurks in the caves during the day, but never sleeps. He is consumed in a violent rage if another being comes near. He bares his long fangs, and his sweet neigh is now replaced by a low menacing growl, followed by a high-pitched scream that makes one's blood run cold. He feasts on small animals, chasing them down in the dead of night and terrorising them until they succumb to their painful end. He very rarely eats grass, as his long fangs get buried in the ground and funnily enough, he gets stuck. But now his lonely, violent and carnivorous life will run until the end of time, as he is now immortal, and until someone can reach inside him and stop his mechanical heart, he will never die....
