This is my entry for :iconboribaby:'s contest!! :w00t: I chose to design both the Azar lead mare and Rafael, so this is only the first part! :D I named her Garnette, after the stone 'garnet' which has similar colouring to her, and also it's a pretty resilient stone, just like this little mare who's one tough cookie! :XD:

I had so much fun colouring her in this rather new style, which I think I'll be keeping! It's like combining my Spirit-style line with my new style line and my realistic colouring! :love:

Anyways, it was a really awesome challenge, with the new colouring and interesting markings and so on! I really had a ball, and I'll be keeping her if I don't get anywhere in the contest! :heart:

Oooooh Dana! This mare is HOT, man, HOT! I actually know the stone and let me say, she does remind me of garnet, so you have that in the bag! :D

Wow what a striking design and the colours alone are fantastic! :love: I especially love the bottom pic, the way she looks there, her face and markings, but of course they are similar poses etc, so I do admire both! The silvery-white markings are awesome! Love the orange mane and tail stacks! And the body colour looks so... luscious :D
