An Illusion To My Eyes

Yay! At last I managed to get my entry done! This is my entry for 's contest, which was to create a character by the name of Illusion! I spent quite a while doing her, so I really really hope you like her! She was loads of fun to create, and if I don't win or place, then I'll definitely draw her again... Listen to me, another character! I find any reason to make a new one! Someone book me into rehab! Here's a little bit about her and her background, even tho its not totally required but does help!

The pale blue-grey mare leapt through the open green field. Her heart beat wildly as she chased the brightly coloured butterflies as they flew beside her. Her golden stockings and markings glinted in the sun, her raindrop-shaped bright blue jewel around her neck bobbed up and down. Illusion stretched her hed towards the ground, tossed it up and galloped on. She had been lost for months, stolen from her family and herd by evil Gryphons who seeked enchanted horses such as Illusion for hideous purposes. Clearly these Gryphons knew nothing of her strength of heart and continuing love for her family. She broke free from their captivity, and fled across the cold winter plains and hot desert dunes, until she found her valley which she called home. How she longed to be with her family once again, and only the thought of them brought immense power to her legs and carried her faster than the wind to the place she called home.
